Job Description

A Government Hospital in Bahrain urgently requires Senior Resident (MD Anesthesia) with cardiothoracic Anesthesia experience at least 1-2 years.

Basic Salary- 1151BD

On call Allowance 345BD

Telephone Allowance- 15BD

Single- Housing allowance without family
190BD
1701BD- Total Salary

Married- housing allowance once family is in Bahrain
315BD
1826BD- total Salary

Initial Contract is 2 years, probation period is 3 months from officially joining. Annual leave is 40 calendar days, 14 days Sick Leave.

MEDICAL SERVICES:

The Employee and his/her family (family means the Employee's spouse and up to (2) two children under the age of (17) Seventeen years) will have access to the medical services, subject to the rules and regulations applied , that are provided by the medical establishment in which he/she joins.
The First Party will not bear any medical expenses of any disease or health issues of the employee and his/her family that existed prior to the commencement of his/her appointment or caused by substance and/or alcohol addiction. If the Employee conceals any other disease or illness prior to his/her appointment in which the First Party observes later, the employee will be declared to be unfit for continuing his/her duties and the same rules stipulated in the (expiration or termination of agreement clause - termination by misconduct) shall apply.

TRAVEL TO AND FROM BAHRAIN:

a. The following transportation expense will be provided to the Employee by the Hospital and his family (wife and 2 dependent children) at the beginning from (Home Country / BAHRAIN) and at the expiry of the contractual period to (BAHRAIN / Home Country) upon satisfactory completion of service contract. (This will be provided by the HQ-Logistics and Supplies Directorate)
b. The Employee will be legible for travel tickets only after completion of 9 months service period unless that the administration has comparing reasons.
c. In the event the agreement is not renewed or terminated under any other reasons by either party only one way ticket will be provided at hospital expense.
d. The tickets in article 4 a and b must be availed within six months of the due date and cannot be claimed afterwards.

EDUCATION BENEFITS:

a. When there are valid reasons to support education of employee's dependent children in scholastic institutions other than those provided without charge by the Ministry of education, the employee will be reimbursed as follows:
i) For each of no more than two dependent children, the Hospital will pay for the actual cost of education each academic year, not exceeding 50% of the applicable fees of the School or BD500/= (Bahraini Dinars Five Hundred Only) whichever is less. This payment will automatically be cancelled if not requested at beginning of the academic year on the 1st of September.

ii) Reimbursement under this Clause 17 is not authorized for preschool, kindergarten, Nursery, college, or university levels of education.
