We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Ambulance Driver to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting patients to and from medical facilities while providing support to medical personnel during emergencies.
Responsibilities
- Drive the ambulance safely and responsibly to and from medical facilities.
- Assist medical personnel during patient transport and ensure their safety and comfort.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on the ambulance to ensure it is in good working order.
- Adhere to traffic laws and regulations while responding to emergency calls.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and emergency response teams.
Skills and Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- 1-5 years of experience in driving, preferably in an emergency or healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights.
