In this role we are seeking a customer obsessed, structured and detail oriented professional to support and drive transactions strategy execution, initiatives that envision implementing smart, intuitive payment models in partnership with Account Payables that balances customer experience with necessity controls. Role focuses on leading day-to-day execution across travel and events payment operations, central billing programs, reconciliation, and supplier billing management. Reports to the Travel and Events Transactions Manager. Emphasis on driving operational excellence across AT&E Payments RACI-defined payment program areas, cross-functional coordination with AP, Finance, Tax, FOAA, and vendor partners. India-based with global scope.

Key job responsibilities
. Lead central billing program operations (BTA/CTA, V-Pay) in partnership with AP
. Manage V-Pay virtual card program day-to-day operations and issue resolution
. Support M&E central card program management and vendor coordination
. Drive central payments reconciliation processes and identify automation opportunities
. Manage Central Bill Solution related invoice management (e-invoicing)
. Maintain and update global country/entity configuration matrix (MoR, invoicing)
. Own end-to-end travel supplier rebate tracking and payment collection
. Execute supplier entity setup and configuration
. Produce monthly travel and events accruals in coordination with Finance
. Coordinate with AP, Accounting, Tax, FOAA, and FORGE on billing matters
. Ensure compliance with payment policy and related GRC controls across geographies
. Work closely with Transactions and Policy-Compliance Managers to establish robust fraud mitigation controls for travel and events payments
. Continuous review of travel and events payments and transactions processes to identify operational gaps and strive for process optimization and automation
. Ability to identify and implement AI-driven solutions to optimize payment operations, enhance team productivity, and scale automation across billing workflows

AT&E Strategic Programs Management (SPM) drives T&E Policy compliance and controllership excellence, intelligent payment solutions, and sustainability transformation across Amazon's travel and events ecosystem. Operating on Customer Obsession, Insist on Highest Standards, and Deliver Results, we support AT&E's strategic pillars of Risk Reduction and Sustainability by developing smart policies, scalable payments automation, and data-driven insights that protect our customers and company while advancing Amazon's path to net-zero carbon.

Basic Qualifications

- . 10+ Years of relevant experience preferably in a travel, event, expense or payment operations environment
- . Familiar with global payment systems and methods of payments - 2 years experience or more ideal
- . Highly analytical with an ability to make data-driven decisions and translate identified opportunities into actionable changes
- . Strong problem-solving skills and high attention to detail
- . Good communicator
- . Able to take on complex situations as well as understand key metrics and how they impact the business

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis, or experience troubleshooting problems and offering solutions to streamline complex challenges
- Experience with at least one of these e-business suite applications: Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Procurement, iProcurement, iExpense, General Ledger, Inventory, Fixed Assets
- Knowledge of strong understanding of tax compliance principles, regulations, and reporting requirements across jurisdictions
