Description

Role focuses on processing travel and events billing transactions, performing routine reconciliations, and supporting the billing operations team with data validation and query resolution. Reports to the Travel and Events Transactions Manager. Works under guidance of the Transactions Lead and Senior Transactions Analyst to ensure accurate and timely transaction processing. India-based with global scope.

Key job responsibilities
. Process daily billing transactions across travel categories (air, hotel, car, rail, meetings & events) . Perform routine statement reconciliations and flag discrepancies for review . Track refunds, credits, and cancelled ticket processing to completion . Validate data accuracy in TMC feeds and internal billing systems . Support vendor query resolution and respond to standard billing inquiries . Assist with supplier onboarding documentation and entity setup tasks . Maintain transaction logs and ensure timely data entry . Support payment card transaction monitoring and exception flagging . Follow established workflows and escalate non-standard issues to Senior Analyst . Support GRC controls validation including transaction-level compliance testing, exception identification, and documentation of control evidence to ensure payment operations meet internal audit requirements

Basic Qualifications

- Experience in data analysis, with the ability to interpret and draw insights from data to inform decision-making processes

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience at Amazon, or experience with domestic or international travel coordination
- Experience in accounts receivable or account payable, or experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis
- Experience with domestic or international travel coordination, or experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
- Experience working in a large team or fast-paced corporate environment
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new AI tools and technologies to improve task efficiency
