About the Role:

• We are hiring for a leading global manufacturing company for its Procurement team. The role will own end-to-end planning and buying of designated Raw Materials - ensuring right time, right quantity, right cost and zero stock-outs.

• Key Responsibilities:

• Raw Material planning for designated raw materials and maintaining optimum inventory levels as per plan Releasing Purchase Orders, delivery schedules, follow-up with suppliers and tracking dispatches Tracking market price, demand & supply of raw materials and preparing Quarterly Strategy Note & Annual / Quarterly Budgeting New vendor development / alternate source development Coordinating with Production & Technical team for RM trials Handling imports - coordination with import clearance team, Finance for LC opening & original documents, minimizing port expenses, detention & demurrage Monthly MIS to Head - Procurement and updating Raw Material Information System Resolving technical & commercial issues with suppliers

• What We Are Looking For: Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech from a good college, MBA preferred
• 
  
• Experience: 2+ years in Procurement / Commercial Negotiations / Raw Material handling / Logistics in a manufacturing setup
• Must Have: Hands-on experience in SAP (preferably S/4 HANA)
• Knowledge: Procurement planning & process, INCO terms & contract terms, market understanding, MS Office Skills: Negotiation & communication, problem solving & action orientation, relationship management, data management & analysis, ability to manage multiple tasks
