Assistant Manager – Management Information Systems (MIS)
Job Summary:
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Chartered Accountant (CA) to lead our Management Information Systems (MIS) function. The Manager – MIS will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial reports, performing detailed financial analysis, and supporting strategic decision-making. This role involves managing MIS operations, improving reporting processes, ensuring strong internal controls, and leading a team to drive data-driven insights across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
MIS Reporting & Financial Analysis
- Prepare, review, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual MIS reports.
- Ensure accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial and operational data.
- Perform variance analysis and identify key trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Provide actionable insights to support business planning and strategic decisions.
- Design and implement data management policies, dashboards, and reporting frameworks.
Process Improvement & Compliance
- Streamline and automate MIS and reporting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain audit readiness and support internal and external audits with proper documentation.
- Continuously review and strengthen reporting and control mechanisms.
Collaboration & Team Management
- Work closely with Finance, Operations, and cross-functional teams to gather and interpret data.
- Lead, mentor, and train team members on MIS tools, reporting standards, and best practices.
- Present financial insights and complex data clearly to senior management and stakeholders.
- Act as a key point of contact for MIS-related discussions and decision support.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 3–5 years of experience in MIS, financial analysis, or similar roles.
- Strong proficiency in financial systems and advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership abilities.
- High attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy, compliance, and timelines.
