Job Responsibility:
- CNC Programming & Machining Develop, optimize, and simulate NC programs for CNC / VMC machines. Define appropriate cutting parameters to ensure efficient machining and optimal tool life.
2. Process Improvement Analyze existing manufacturing workflows and identify opportunities for improvement. Reduce setup and cycle times to maximize productivity and efficiency.
- Tooling & Fixturing Design and implement fixtures for machining operations. Select appropriate cutting tools and tooling strategies for production.
- Technical Documentation Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications. Prepare detailed work instructions, routing sheets, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Quality & Troubleshooting Support quality control initiatives and machining accuracy. Identify root causes of defects and implement corrective actions.
- Vendor & Safety Management Coordinate with external vendors for tooling, fixtures, and materials. Ensure compliance with safety standards and shop floor safety regulations.
Job Specification Educational /Qualification:
B.Tech in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering. M.Tech will be an added advantage.
Experience - 5+ years of relevant experience in CNC programming, machining processes, and manufacturing operations.
Technical Skills - Proficiency in AutoCAD. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Strong knowledge of CNC / VMC machining, tooling, and process optimization.
