Role Summary
We are looking for a highly detail-oriented and execution-focused HR Operations
professional who will independently manage day-to-day HR operations across the
employee lifecycle. This is a pure Individual Contributor (IC) role requiring strong
ownership, accuracy, and process discipline in a fast-paced startup environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Employee Lifecycle Management
• Manage onboarding documentation, offer letters, and joining formalities
• Ensure accurate HRMS data entry for new joiners
• Track and manage probation confirmations
• Execute role changes, salary revisions, transfers, and promotions in HR systems
• Handle full and final settlement coordination and exit documentation
2. Payroll Coordination
• Prepare and validate monthly payroll inputs (new joiners, exits, LOP, reimbursements,
bonuses, etc.)
• Coordinate with Finance/payroll vendor for accurate salary processing
• Validate payroll reports and resolve discrepancies
• Address employee payroll-related queries within defined SLAs
3. HRMS & Data Accuracy
• Maintain employee master data with high accuracy
• Perform periodic HR data audits
• Generate HR dashboards and reports (attrition, headcount, confirmations, etc.)
• Ensure system updates for policy changes and compensation revisions
4. Compliance & Documentation
• Support statutory compliance documentation (PF, ESI, Gratuity, PT, Shops &
Establishment)
• Maintain employee files and compliance trackers
• Ensure documentation is audit-ready at all times
• Support internal and external audit requirements
5. Employee Experience & Query Resolution
• Act as primary POC for HR operations-related queries
• Provide timely and accurate responses to employees
• Improve turnaround time and service delivery standards
• Support policy communication and implementation
6. Process Excellence & Automation
• Identify inefficiencies in existing processes
• Suggest and implement automation or workflow improvements
• Create and maintain SOP documentation
Eligibility Criteria
• 4–8 years of experience in HR Operations
• Experience in high-growth startup or mid-sized organization preferred
• Strong understanding of Indian labour laws and statutory processes
• Hands-on experience in HRMS platforms (Darwinbox, Keka, SAP, Workday, Greythr, etc.)
• Experience coordinating payroll processes.
