Key responsibilities
- Publishing accounting FPNA
- All month end, weekly, balance sheet prep from current FM and Analyst role would move into this role, the Business partnering would be split with the Finance Managers
- Reporting monthly and weekly results for all Title Overheads includingTML,NGN.
- Accruals and Prepayment balance sheet reconciliations, including analysis of risks and opportunities.
- Assisting Business Partner with preparation of Budget and Forecast for department and input into TM1, commenting on variances to prior forecast listing movements on personnel and other costs.
- Preparing presentation of Month End results, Budgets and Outlooks for Business partner and assisting with presentations to stakeholders.
- Use variances to calculate and flag and predict variances in advance of Budget and Outlook submissions flagging to the retained team.
- Headcount reporting
- Reviewing Blocked Invoices for Title Overhead areas and liaising with stakeholders to understand why they are blocked.
- Reviewing GRNI for Corporate areas and liaising with PO originator to understand ifinvoiceswill be coming in.
- Coding Invoices/Approving POs
- Other Ad Hoc reporting as required
Minimum qualifications
- Relevant2+ years ofPublishing accountingexperience preferred
- Strong attention to detail, goal oriented, the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines
- Preferred history of demonstrated success in a fast paced, flexible environment with shifting demands and priorities
- Develop a positive working relationship with internal and external stakeholders
- Solid Microsoft suite skills, including excel, word and PowerPoint
- Solid Google suite knowledge, including G-sheets, Docs and Slides
