- High Voltage Components Design & Development Engineer
Responsibilities: -
Responsibilities:
- Define EV/HEV Electrical/Electronic components specification for charging, traction system and vehicle functions
- Defining and evaluation of EV/HEV ECU's Engine Management System Interfaces, functions, and Controls
- Electrical components Hardware Evaluation/testing at Part & Vehicle level
- Conducting components development with Suppliers like Technical reviews & Project Schedule monitoring
- Process confirmation of Electrical and Electronics components
- Work with System team to identify the electrical interfaces & calibration
Competency Requirements: -
Technical/Functional:
- Knowledge of Electrical & Electronics in Vehicle and various Components
- Knowledge of EV/HEV systems (Architecture and design considerations)
- Experience in testing at Component bench and vehicle level
- Experience of BOM creation, Project scheduling
- Electronic Controller testing, electrical/electronic troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of ISO 26262
- Exposure to Hybrid / Electric Powertrain Control Design, development, Verification and Validation. Familiarity with on board diagnostics.
- Exposure to Regulations, and Standards of HEV/EV such as AIS 041, AIS038, AIS102, AIS 048
