AM/DM- Engineer- Design & Development of Knuckle, Drive Shafts & wheel bearings

Job Role:

• Min 3 Years (AM) / Min 5 Years (DM) of relevant experience
• Design, Development & Evaluation of Tyre and Wheels (Aluminum/Steel), Wheel Covers & TPMS.
• Experience in designing & spec finalization of Tyre, Wheel (Aluminum / Steel) & knowledge of layout check, load calculations. Need to have experience on design of construction matrix to achieve Vehicle performance, RRC improvement techniques and Tyre tuning. Need to have exposure in actual tyre testing on vehicle.
• Development of Hardware and software along with system integration for TPMS system.
• Should be conversant with Homologation requirements for Suspension systems (India & Global) †like Tyres, Wheels, TPMS, systems etc
• Should have adequate knowledge of CAD system. (UG NX/ UG Motion)

Key Responsibilities

• Designing & development of Steering knuckle, wheel hubs, drive shafts, wheel bearings & fasteners.
• Spec study and spec preparation for Indian condition. Design & Layouting of parts with focus on local development.
• Benchmarking & alternate raw material study for quality improvement, weight saving, efficiency improvement.
• Good working knowledge of UG-NX, UG Motion and good hand on experience in Modeling, drawing modules.

Functional

• Basic understanding about Suspension system, design aspects & function
• Ability to work hands on with Suspension system parts.
• Should have a passion for automobiles and should be aware of latest automotive trends in field of Suspension system & wheel design technology.

Managerial

• Should have good communication skills & enthusiasm to take up stiff challenging targets.
• Experience of Project Management will be added advantage.

Education Qualification

• BE/B Tech. Automobile / Mechanical Engineer from a reputed college
