Job Description

Job Overview: As the Alumni Rekations Manager for the Anjuman Alumni Network, you will play a key role in engaging with institutions, alumni, students, and volunteers to foster a sense of community. You will oversee administrative tasks such as maintaining membership records, organizing alumni events, and setting up Alumni Association Board meetings. Your goal will be to increase alumni engagement and strengthen the sense of community among the Anjuman Alumni.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategies to engage Institutions Head, Alumni, Students and Volunteers to foster a sense of community.

Oversee the association's correspondence and ensure timely communication with members.

Plan and organize alumni events, such as reunions, networking events, and professional development opportunities.

Collaborate with other departments and teams within the institution to identify and leverage alumni resources, such as expertise, mentorship, and fundraising potential.

Maintain accurate records and databases of alumni, their contact information, and their activities to monitor alumni engagement and participation.

Create and distribute regular communications to alumni, including newsletters, social media posts, and email updates, to keep them informed about institutional news, events, and opportunities.

Work with the institution's leadership and development team to identify fundraising opportunities and engage alumni in philanthropic activities.

Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of alumni engagement efforts and make recommendations for improvement.

Supervise and train alumni network staff, volunteers, and student interns.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as communications, marketing, or business administration.

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in alumni relations, fundraising, or a related field.

Managerial experience, preferably in the alumni relations department of a college/university.

Strong analytical, organizational, and administrative skills, including experience in database manipulation and website administration.

Strong interpersonal, communication, and networking skills.

Ability to work within an interdependent team and manage team members.

Experience working with databases, social media platforms, and email marketing tools.

Understanding of fundraising principles and practices.

Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed for alumni events and activities

Well-versed in English and Hindi.
