About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Alumni Engagement Intern to support the growth and activation of our global alumni network at upGrad International.

This role is ideal for someone interested in community building, digital engagement, and growth initiatives within a fast-paced EdTech environment. You'll work closely with alumni communities worldwide and help drive meaningful engagement and participation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Community Engagement

  • Manage and engage alumni across platforms (LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Slack, Email)
  • Drive conversations, polls, and networking interactions
  • Identify and nurture active alumni champions

2. Virtual Events & Programs

  • Assist in planning and executing webinars, alumni talks, and networking sessions
  • Handle registrations, reminders, and post-event follow-ups
  • Track attendance and engagement metrics

3. Content & Storytelling

  • Create alumni spotlight stories and success journeys
  • Support social media and community content
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to amplify alumni achievements

4. Referral & Growth Initiatives

  • Support alumni referral campaigns
  • Track engagement and referral performance
  • Encourage alumni to explore further learning opportunities

5. Analytics & Reporting

  • Maintain engagement trackers and dashboards
  • Monitor community activity and participation
  • Assist in weekly performance reporting

What We're Looking For

  • 0–1 year experience (students/freshers welcome)
  • Strong interest in community building / marketing / engagement roles
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable interacting with professionals virtually
  • Basic knowledge of Google Sheets, Docs, and presentation tools
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn or online communities is a plus
  • Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented
