Role: Algorithm and Embedded SW PM – MCU (Motor Control Unit)
Embedded Software PM – MCU is responsible Embedded Software Project Manager to lead the planning, coordination, execution, and delivery of embedded software projects for Motor Control Units used in electric drive systems. The ideal candidate will have strong technical understanding of embedded development, excellent project management skills, and the ability to work crossfunctionally with hardware, firmware, systems, and validation teams. This role involves working closely with hardware, firmware, and control engineering teams to deliver highperformance and reliable motor control software.
Key Responsibilities
- Define project scope, deliverables, schedules, and milestones for embedded software programs.
- Create and maintain project plans, sprint backlogs, engineering timelines, and resource plans.
- Drive daily/weekly project tracking and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Coordinate software development activities across application, middleware, driver, and hardwaredependent layers.
- Act as the primary interface between embedded developers, hardware teams, quality, and stakeholders.
- Support technical decisions, architecture discussions, and integration strategy.
- Identify project risks, maintain mitigation plans, and escalate critical issues proactively.
- Track defects, integration issues, and change requests using tools like Jira, Azure DevOps.
- Ensure robust defecttracking and closure processes.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Embedded Systems, Computer Sceince, or related field.
- 12+ years experience in embedded software development, integration, or testing.
- 2+ years experience in project or program management roles.
- Strong proficiency in C/C++, embedded RTOS, and realtime programming.
- Experience with Automotive SPICE, AUTOSAR workflows, or functional safety (ISO 26262).
- Background in motor control, EV powertrain software, robotics, or industrial controllers.
- Experience leading geographically distributed engineering teams.
- Familiarity with modelbased development (MATLAB/Simulink).
- Certifications: PMP, Scrum Master, or equivalent (preferred but not mandatory).
- Familiarity with vehicle communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet etc.) and integration with vehicle control units.
- Knowledge of regenerative braking, torque vectoring, and efficiency optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with AI/ML applications in motor control (predictive control, anomaly detection).
- Strong analytical and system-level thinking capabilities.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Leadership and mentoring ability for algorithm development teams.
- Passion for electrification, automotive innovation, and high-performance control systems.
