Role: AJO Developer (Adobe Journey Optimizer)

Location: Bangalore / Noida / Gurgaon

What you'll do

Design and implement technical journeys in Adobe Journey Optimizer from documented business flows (e.g., Miro), translating requirements into working orchestration.
Lead data-readiness work in Adobe Experience Platform (AEP): schema validation, dataset mapping, segment/query definition, consent-data strategy, and data ingestion/collection.
Build and maintain campaigns/journey workflows in AJO — new features, updates, exclusions, health checks, and environment availability for testers and end users.
Set up and integrate messaging channels — email, direct mail, web — coordinating with internal teams and third-party providers.
Provide technical troubleshooting and support
Evaluate out-of-the-box platform limitations and define technical workarounds (e.g., List Unsubscribe, campaign feedback tracking, data lake ↔AJO coexistence).

What you'll bring

6+ years in marketing automation
Deep hands-on Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) experience building and delivering journeys.
Strong Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) skills: schemas, datasets, segments, queries, data collection, and Assurance.
Understanding of consent management, deliverability, and unsubscribe handling.
A client-facing, consultative style with excellent written communication and documentation habits.
Comfort working in Agile/Scrum with tools like Jira, Confluence, SharePoint

Certifications (strongly preferred)

Adobe AEP and AJO

Nice to have

Exposure to Adobe Audience Manager, Adobe Analytics, and Adobe Target.
Experience connecting and rationalizing an existing Adobe tech stack for clients (solution architecture / consultancy).
Prior experience as a campaign operations coordinator or tech lead, mentoring or training other engineers.
A Computer Engineering / CS background.
