Aircraft Structural Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Design and development of primary and secondary aircraft structural components (metallic and composite) for fixed-wing and rotary-wing platforms
• Perform static, dynamic, buckling, and impact analysis using finite element methods
• Develop and validate FE models ensuring compliance with aerospace modeling and meshing standards
• Support structural sizing, load path optimization, and material selection based on analysis results
• Prepare FEA verification and validation (V&V) documentation and certification reports
• Ensure compliance with airworthiness regulations such as FAR, CS, JAR, and MIL standards
• Support certification testing, test planning, and correlation between test and analysis results
• Perform weight estimation, tracking, and optimization across design phases
• Identify and resolve structural performance issues including fatigue and failure cases
• Collaborate with SMEs, OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, and certification authorities
• Support design reviews, technical audits, and change control processes
• Contribute to automation and process improvement using scripting tools
