We are currently seeking an AI Voice Systems Engineer to help drive this next chapter. This role blends software engineering, automation, telecom expertise and AI‑powered communication systems to build the future of enterprise voice.
Key Responsibilities
· Design and build a framework/tool to automate testing of AI-driven bots and Voice AI systems
· Develop capabilities to simulate AI-to-AI and human-to-AI conversational interactions
· Contribute to building and scaling an AI-driven testing practice within the organization
· Leverage modern AI tools and techniques to enhance automation, test coverage, and system intelligence
· Work on Voice AI platforms to validate conversational flows, responses, and system behavior
· Understand and analyze end-to-end call flows, including signaling and media paths
· Apply knowledge of SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) and media handling (RTP, codecs, latency, etc.) to troubleshoot and validate systems
· Identify gaps in AI bot behavior and improve conversation accuracy, response handling, and reliability
· Collaborate with engineering and product teams to improve AI bot performance in real-world scenarios
· Experiment with new approaches to testing conversational and agentic AI systems
· Build reusable tools and solutions that can scale across multiple AI/voice platforms
· Experiment with new approaches to test and improve conversational AI
· Work on real-time event-driven systems and asynchronous workflows
· Contribute ideas to enhance automation, efficiency, and system intelligence
· Drive innovation in creating a testing AI for AI systems ecosystem, moving beyond traditional QA approaches
Technology Exposure
· Voice AI platforms and conversational systems
· SIP signaling, RTP/media streams, call flows
· APIs, WebSockets, and real-time systems
· AI/ML-based interaction models
· Automation frameworks and scripting tools
Required Skills and Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
· Strong programming skills in JavaScript (Node.js preferred)
· Solid understanding of REST APIs, asynchronous programming (async/await, Promises), and backend systems
· Basic understanding of real-time systems (WebSockets, event-driven architectures, or similar concepts)
· Familiarity with MCP, API testing, debugging, and system integration concepts
· Exposure to or strong interest in AI/ML, conversational systems, or automation
· Understanding of data structures, problem-solving, and logical thinking
· Ability to understand and work with end-to-end system flows (input → processing → response)
· Good analytical skills to identify issues in system behavior and edge cases
· Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
Preferred / Good to Have Skills
· Exposure to Voice AI, chatbots, or conversational platforms
· Basic knowledge of SIP, VoIP, or call flow concepts
· Understanding of media handling (audio streams, latency, codecs – basic level)
· Experience with automation tools or scripting (Playwright, Selenium, etc.)
· Basic knowledge of Python (for AI/automation use cases)
· Experience with MERN stack or full-stack development
