Job Description
Indara Studios is an AI film studio by FlowScale AI. We make narrative AI films: series, short films and story-led brand films. Stories that run longer than a clip.
Anyone can generate a shot now. Our work is making a scene hold: the same face, the same room, the same light, and a performance that actually lands. AI can make anything look like a film. It still can't make you feel one. That's the part we care about.
Right now we're producing scripted AI series for international studios, alongside our own films.
The role
You'll work next to the director and run production. The director decides what each scene should feel like and where the camera goes. The prompts are written in-house. You turn them into footage, and the footage into a cut.
What you'll do
• Run AI video generations from our prompt packs, take by take, within a set credit budget.
• Check every take against the plan. Same face, same costume, same props, same eyeline as the last shot Right screen direction Flag what broke.
• Pull still frames from approved takes and keep our reference library of characters, locations and props organised, so every new episode starts from the right images.
• Cut a rough assembly of each episode for director review, with dialogue, sound and pacing in place. Then make the fixes.
• Keep a take log: clip, take number, what worked, what broke. It becomes our production playbook.
• One day a week, make footage from our own test characters and sets, and cut short reels for our Instagram and LinkedIn.
You must have
• Editing. You're comfortable in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve (CapCut is fine to start). You can cut a dialogue scene so it plays.
• Hands-on AI video. You've made things with at least one AI video tool (Seedance, Kling, Veo, Runway, Hailuo or similar) and one image tool (Nano Banana / Gemini, Midjourney, GPT Image or similar). Show us.
• An eye for continuity. You notice when a character's face, hair, clothes or a prop changes between two shots.
• Basic film grammar. Shot sizes, eyelines, the 180-degree rule, why a close-up and a wide feel different.
• Organisation. Clean file names, clean folders, nothing lost.
• Clear written English. Our series are in English, and our prompt packs are detailed documents.
Good to have
• Sound: dialogue cleanup, room tone, music timing.
• Photoshop, for frame fixes and cleanup.
• Short-form editing for Reels: 9:16, hooks, burned-in captions.
• Comfort with AI assistants (Claude, ChatGPT) or basic command-line tools.
• A film, mass communication, animation or VFX background. Students and recent graduates welcome.
You don't need
• Coding.
• Advanced prompt engineering. We teach our method.
• A polished showreel. We care more about what you noticed than how pretty it looks.
What you get
• A seat inside real, scripted AI film production: treatment, blocking, prompting, generation and edit, with people who ship it every week.
• Mentorship on film craft applied to AI.
• Work you can show, from our own films and tests.
• A monthly stipend, a certificate and a letter of recommendation.
• For the right person, a path to a full-time role.
Confidentiality
Client work is confidential and stays off your socials. You'll sign an NDA. Anything made from our own tests, you're welcome to show.
How to apply
Email [Confidential Information] with the subject AI Video Intern and send:
1. One AI video clip you generated (a link is fine), with a line on the tool you used and what went wrong along the way.
2. One edit you cut, from any footage.
3. Two lines on a film or series whose camera work you love, and why.
Shortlisted candidates get a short test task: generate and cut a 20-second scene from a prompt pack we give you. We cover the generation credits.
