We're looking for a Video Editor who not only edits like a pro but also understands how to generate video with AI tools and stitch the output into UGC-style ads that actually convert. You'll turn briefs, scripts, and prompts into scroll-stopping creatives for Meta, TikTok, and YouTube — using a hybrid workflow of raw footage, generated b-roll, AI avatars, and traditional editing.
You'll directly shape the visual language of multiple consumer brands and influence the performance of multi-million-dollar ad engines. AI is collapsing the cost of producing variations — we want someone who treats that as a creative superpower, not a gimmick.

What you'll do
- Edit high-performing short-form UGC ads for Meta, TikTok, and YouTube based on detailed creative briefs.
- Generate video assets using AI tools — Veo, Kling, ElevenLabs, HeyGen, and similar — and integrate them seamlessly into UGC-style edits.
- Craft prompts that produce on-brand, on-message footage in the right style, lighting, and pacing — and iterate prompts until the output is ad-ready.
- Blend AI-generated b-roll, AI avatars, and AI voiceovers with real human footage so the final cut feels native to UGC, not synthetic.
- Interpret scripts, concepts, and references into polished assets that match the desired emotion, pacing, and performance angle.
- Take creative liberties — experiment with hooks, text overlays, transitions, pacing tricks, and AI-driven variations.
- Work closely with creative strategists to refine edits and iterate through multiple variations at speed.
- Adapt winning ads into new formats, lengths, aspect ratios, and hooks — using AI to multiply variations efficiently.
- Develop a strong understanding of performance metrics: thumb-stop rate, hold rate, watch time, CTR, and ROAS.
- Maintain an organized project structure and deliver fast turnarounds on revisions and new concepts.
- Contribute to the creative testing roadmap with experimental AI-driven edits and concepts.
- (Future) Grow into a senior editor role managing additional editors and overseeing creative quality.
Who can apply
- 1–5 years of video editing experience (agency, DTC brand, creator, or performance marketing preferred).
- Hands-on experience using AI video generation tools — you've shipped real edits using them, not just experimented.
- Deep understanding of short-form content and the pacing/styles that win on Meta, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Strong feel for UGC aesthetics — you know why a creator-style ad outperforms a polished brand spot.
- Must be based in Bangalore or willing to relocate.
- Direct-response or UGC-style ad experience strongly preferred.
- Detail-oriented, fast, iterative, and energized by a performance-driven environment.
