AI Video Editor

About the Role:

 TrueFan is looking for a highly creative, visually driven AI Video Editor who doesn't just edit videos — but builds experiences. Someone who understands storytelling, aesthetics, and how to use AI tools as a creative superpower, not just shortcuts.

What You'll Do:

Transform ideas, scripts, and concepts into visually striking video content

Use AI tools (Runway, Kling , Seedance, Veo, etc.) to generate scenes, enhance visuals, and push creative boundaries

Design motion graphics, transitions, and effects that feel fresh, not templated

Blend AI-generated visuals with real footage seamlessly

Craft edits with strong storytelling, pacing, and emotional impact

Experiment with new formats, styles, and trends for short-form and long-form content

Collaborate closely with creative, marketing, and content teams

• Optimize content for platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok without losing creative quality

What We're Looking For:

A strong creative eye — you know what looks good instantly

Proven experience in video editing with a standout portfolio

Expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar tools

Ability to think in visuals, not just timelines

Strong understanding of color, composition, motion, and rhythm

• Someone who can take a rough idea and turn it into a polished, engaging video
• Comfortable working fast without compromising on creativity

AI & Creative Edge (Must-Have Mindset):

Hands-on experience with AI tools like Runway, Pika, Sora, Descript, etc.

Ability to use prompts creatively to generate unique visuals

Understanding of AI limitations + how to creatively work around them

• Curiosity to constantly explore and adopt new AI workflows

Bonus Points If You:

Have experience in motion design / VFX / animation

Can do sound design, audio cleanup, or voice sync

Understand viral content and what works on social media

• Bring original ideas, not just execution
