Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced AI Video Editor to drive AI-first video production at our Pune studio. You will use generative video and AI-powered editing workflows to conceive, create, and deliver content across short-form social, performance ads, brand films, and client pitch videos. This role is ideal for a video professional who is excited to work at the frontier of AI-generated content while maintaining a strong editorial and storytelling sensibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Conceptualise and produce AI-generated and AI-assisted video content across formats.
- Edit and deliver short-form social videos (Reels, Shorts, TikTok) optimised for platform-native performance.
- Produce video ad creatives tailored for paid media and performance campaigns.
- Craft brand films, explainer videos, and narrative-driven content for client storytelling.
- Develop pitch videos and case study films that showcase client outcomes and agency capabilities.
- Combine AI-generated footage, voice, and visuals with traditional editing techniques when required.
- Maintain strong editorial judgment — pacing, rhythm, sound design, and visual coherence.
- Stay ahead of emerging AI video tools and workflows, and bring new capabilities into the studio's practice.
- Collaborate closely with designers, strategists, and account teams to deliver on brief.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4+ years of professional video editing experience, preferably in an agency or content studio.
- Strong showreel demonstrating range across short-form, ads, and longer-form brand content.
- Hands-on experience producing content using generative AI video tools and workflows.
- Working knowledge of prompt craft for video and image generation.
- Proficiency in industry-standard editing software.
- Strong sense of pacing, storytelling, sound design, and platform-specific best practices.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver on tight timelines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Nice to Have
- Motion graphics and After Effects skills.
- Experience producing video for performance marketing campaigns.
- Basic colour grading and audio mixing capabilities.
