Job Description
About the role
We're hiring an AI Video Editor for an AI-first episodic content pipeline. This is an execution-focused role, not story writing or creative ideation. You will take pre-defined comic panels, scripts, voiceovers, and scene notes and turn them into finished episodic videos using AI tools and professional editing.
If you enjoy shipping videos daily and working inside structured workflows, this role is for you.
Type: Full-time
Location: Remote
Salary: 40,000/month
Application: Apply with your previous work/portfolio
What you'll do
- Convert comic panel image sets into short episodic videos
- Add basic motion: pan/zoom, simple transitions, subtle camera moves
- Sync AI-generated voiceovers with visuals
- Add background music and sound effects with clean timing and levels
- Ensure consistent pacing, audio clarity, and export quality
- Export and deliver episodes using a fixed naming + folder structure
Work with a prep intern who provides:
- Voiceovers
- BGM/SFX packs
- Asset-ready folders
Tools you'll use
- Editing: Premiere Pro / After Effects / DaVinci Resolve
- AI / Video tools (examples): Runway, Luma, Kling, Nano Banana, open-source AI tools
- You don't need to know every tool. You must be comfortable learning quickly.
What we're looking for
- Strong video editing fundamentals (timing, pacing, transitions, audio sync)
- Hands-on experience with AI video tools preferred
- Good sense of rhythm and sound design for episodic content
- Ability to work fast and hit daily delivery targets
- Comfortable delivering 4 to 5 finished minutes per day consistently
- Portfolio matters more than degrees. Degree not required
