About the Role
We're looking for a creative and tech-savvy AI Video Editor to create engaging, AI-driven videos. This role focuses on using AI tools and smart workflows to turn simple ideas into high-impact short-form and long-form video content. The ideal candidate has a strong sense of storytelling, understands AI-assisted video creation, and can combine automation with creativity to produce high-quality, on-brand videos at scale.
Primary Responsibilities
- Create AI-generated promotional videos across platforms (Instagram, YouTube, Shorts, Reels, Ads, etc.)
- Convert simple descriptions into engaging visual narratives using AI video, image, and motion tools
- Use AI tools to generate visuals, backgrounds, characters, scenes, and transitions aligned with the theme
- Edit and assemble AI-generated assets into cohesive videos with strong pacing and storytelling
- Add captions, overlays, motion graphics, sound effects, and music to enhance impact and retention
- Ensure all content follows brand guidelines, tone, and visual identity
- Experiment with new AI workflows to improve speed, quality, and creativity
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
- Collaborate with UI/UX, marketers, and content teams to incorporate feedback and deliver on time
- Stay updated on emerging AI video tools, trends, and best practices
Experience and Skills
- 1-5 years of experience as a Video Editor with a strong focus on AI-generated content
- Experience combining AI-generated visuals with real footage or stock assets
- Knowledge of motion graphics and AI-assisted animation
- Familiarity with platform-specific video formats and performance optimisation
- Strong creative problem-solving, attention to detail, and adaptability
- Keep up with the latest social media trends, editing techniques, and tools to ensure content stays fresh and relevant
