Padup Ventures is looking for a Venture Operations Intern who will act as the Digital Architect of our incubation process. You won't just be fetching coffee; you will be building the AI-driven systems that evaluate the next generation of Indian unicorns.

This is a true Internship as it makes it a perfect role for a hungry, high-potential fresh graduate who has the technical chops but wants to learn the business of startups. This person will be your AI-Native Analyst.

Here is the Job Description tailored for a fresh BTech graduate with a Fintech/Finance tilt.

What You Will Do

1. Automate the Venture Brain

• Process Mapping: Study Padup's proprietary incubation process and map it into logical workflows.
• Agentic AI Implementation: Use tools like OpenAI Assistants, CrewAI, or Zapier AI to automate startup scouting, pitch deck screening, and initial financial health checks.
• Data Management: Maintain and optimize our database of 50+ portfolio companies using automated tracking tools.

2. Startup Curation & Cohorts

• Assist in the Top of Funnel activities—engaging with founders applying for our cohorts.
• Conduct technical and financial due diligence on early-stage startups using a mix of manual research and AI tools.
• Learn to evaluate Product-Market Fit and Founder-Market Fit.

3. Investor & Portfolio Support

• Draft investment memos and performance reports for our network of Angel and Seed investors.
• Support the portfolio management team in tracking KPIs for our 50+ startups.
• Research exit opportunities (Acquisitions/IPOs) in specific sectors (Fintech, SaaS, DeepTech).

Who You Are

• Educational Background: Recent BTech in Computer Science (or related field). A Fintech bend is essential—perhaps you took electives in Finance, have a minor in Economics, or have completed CFA Level 1 / NISM certifications.
• AI Enthusiast: You are comfortable with Python and have experimented with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic) or automation frameworks.
• Startup Nerd: You follow news on Y-Combinator, TechCrunch, and the Indian startup ecosystem. You want to know why a startup succeeds, not just how to code it.
• Analytical Mind: You can look at a startup's burn rate and revenue projections and spot the red flags.
