AI Trainer - Video Labeling Associate

experts by shift is a data annotation platform where contributors annotate video data to create high-quality training datasets for advanced AI systems. The work involves applying expert judgment, following detailed guidelines, and maintaining a high standard of accuracy and consistency.

What you'll do

Review first-person video recordings of people performing everyday physical tasks:

• Quality Control: Review recordings against written standards and determine whether they meet high-quality requirements.
• Action Labelling: Label (write) key actions seen in the video in English and capture the start/end points of each action with 99% accuracy.
• Apply Guidelines: Consistently follow written instructions and flag unclear or ambiguous footage.

Who we're looking for

• Strong written and spoken English.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured guidelines.
• Comfortable having work reviewed and scored against defined quality standards.
• No prior AI or annotation experience required. Training is provided.

Engagement & compensation

• Hours: 20-40 hours/week
• Location: Remote (India only)
• Duration: 1-3 months initially, with extension opportunities for strong performers and opportunity to level up to become Video labeling Reviewers.
• Pay: Approximately 30,000 to 40,000 per month for the initial project upon meeting performance requirements.
• Payment: Bi-weekly via bank transfer against logged hours and accepted work.
• Requirements: Personal laptop and stable internet connection. Software and tool access are provided.

Selection process

3. Annotation Trial: Label a short sample video using the provided guidelines.
4. Onboarding flow: Signup -> Complete training -> Pass tests -> Sign contract and share bank account details -> Receive tool access and begin the first assignment.
