Role Overview

We are looking for an AI Security Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting security architectures and controls for AI models, agents, data, and AI platforms. The ideal candidate will have experience in securing AI systems, cloud environments, APIs, and enterprise applications while ensuring scalable and secure AI adoption.

The candidate will collaborate with AI/ML engineers, data teams, security teams, and business stakeholders to identify risks, implement security controls, and build secure AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement security controls for AI models, AI agents, data pipelines, and AI platforms.
• Perform threat modeling and security assessments for AI systems.
• Identify and mitigate security risks related to AI applications and machine learning workflows.
• Implement IAM policies, authentication, authorization, and access control mechanisms.
• Secure AI APIs and applications using industry-standard security practices.
• Apply encryption and data protection techniques for AI workloads.
• Monitor AI systems and platforms for security threats and vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with cloud, data, and engineering teams to implement secure architectures.
• Support secure development practices across AI application lifecycles.
• Analyze security logs, alerts, and incidents related to AI systems.
• Stay updated on emerging AI security threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 1–5 years of overall experience in cybersecurity, AI security, cloud security, application security, or related technologies.
• Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on experience in AI security or closely related areas.
• Strong understanding of:
• AI security concepts and risks
• Threat modeling methodologies
• Identity and Access Management (IAM)
• Encryption and data protection
• Secure API development
• Cloud security principles
• Security monitoring and incident response
• Experience securing cloud-based applications and AI workloads.
• Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Ability to analyze security vulnerabilities and implement remediation strategies.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Good to Have Skills

• Experience with AI/ML platforms and LLM security.
• Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and OWASP LLM Top 10.
• Familiarity with AI risk frameworks such as NIST AI RMF or MITRE ATLAS.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices, CI/CD security, and security automation.
• Experience with security monitoring tools such as SIEM platforms.
