AI Security Architect

Role Description The AI Security Architect is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune, India. This role is responsible for designing and implementing secure architectures for AI-driven systems, including data pipelines, model deployment environments, and integration points with enterprise infrastructure. The AI Security Architect will conduct threat modeling, risk assessments, and security reviews for AI applications, ensuring compliance with security policies, regulations, and industry standards. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with engineering, data science, and product teams to embed security-by-design, developing and maintaining security patterns and reference architectures, and evaluating emerging AI and quantum-related security risks. The role also involves creating technical documentation, mentoring colleagues on secure AI practices, and supporting incident response and vulnerability management related to AI systems.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Security Architecture Design, including secure design principles for AI systems and complex enterprise environments.
• Experience in building B2B products
• Experience in Cryptography and Quantum technologies
• Proficiency in Application Security, with experience securing APIs, microservices, machine learning models, and software development lifecycles.
• Solid background in Cybersecurity and Information Security, including risk assessment, governance, compliance, and security best practices.
• Hands-on experience with Network Security, covering secure connectivity, segmentation, encryption, and protection of cloud and on-premises infrastructures.
• Knowledge of AI/ML technologies, model lifecycle management, and common AI attack vectors (e.g., data poisoning, model theft, adversarial attacks).
• Familiarity with relevant standards and frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, OWASP, CSA) and modern cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams and leading security initiatives in enterprise or high-growth technology environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree or security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, OSCP) are beneficial.
