We're looking for an AI Research Engineer who will research, design, and implement advanced AI agents and autonomous systems powered by large language models (LLMs). In this role, you'll work across the stack from prototyping new agent behaviors and planning algorithms to building scalable Python-based systems that interact with tools, APIs, and workflows in production. This is a cross-functional role where research meets real-world engineering.
1. AI Agent Research & Development
- Design and implement autonomous AI agent frameworks with multi-step decision making, planning, and tool invocation.
- Build and evaluate novel agentic systems for real-world tasks.
- Integrate state-of-the-art model techniques (LLMs, planning modules, memory systems).
2. Python-Driven Engineering
- Build scalable Python codebases to support research prototypes and production pipelines, emphasizing performance, modularity, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with backend and infrastructure engineers to deploy research outcomes as robust AI services.
3. Model Integration & Optimization
- Integrate LLMs and model components from open-source or third-party platforms.
- Experiment with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), embeddings, and memory to improve task performance.
4. Cross-Team Collaboration
- Collaborate with product, UX, and software teams to define and refine specifications for AI-driven product features.
- Communicate research insights and architectural decisions clearly across teams.
