Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an AI Research & Development Engineer located in Kochi. The role involves leading research and development projects, designing and conducting testing procedures, and contributing to the development of new AI-driven products. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate ideas into practical solutions and contribute to advancing Toadfly's innovative software offerings to meet client-specific needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct research in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and deep learning.
• Design, develop, and train AI/ML models for real-world applications.
• Analyze large datasets and perform data preprocessing and feature engineering.
• Implement algorithms using Python and AI frameworks.
• Test, validate, and optimize model performance.
• Collaborate with software, data, and product teams to deploy AI solutions.
• Stay updated with the latest AI research, tools, and technologies.
• Document research findings and technical processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of machine learning, neural networks, and statistics.
• Programming experience in Python.
• Experience with ML libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and model evaluation.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in NLP, Computer Vision, or Generative AI.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms and model deployment.
• Research publications or AI project portfolio.

Experience

• 23 years of relevant AI/ML experience.
