Key Responsibilities
- manage release pipelines across Windows, Android, and embedded platforms.
- Coordinate build, packaging, signing, and deployment workflows to ensure consistent, repeatable releases.
- Oversee CI/CD automation, including continuous integration, daily builds, artifact generation, and release validation.
- Partner with development, QA, DevOps, and product teams to define release criteria, timelines, and readiness checkpoints.
- Ensure proper versioning, branching, tagging, and artifact management across all release streams.
- Monitor build health, triage failures, and drive resolution of release‑blocking issues.
- Maintain release documentation, change logs, and compliance artifacts for audit and traceability.
- Support cross‑platform productization, including installer creation, OTA packaging, and platform‑specific delivery workflows.
- Improve release processes through automation, tooling enhancements, and workflow optimization.
- Coordinate release approvals, sign‑offs, and communication across global teams.
Required Skills Experience
- Strong hands‑on experience with CI/CD systems (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or equivalent).
- Proven background in cross‑platform release engineering (Windows, Android, Linux, embedded).
- Experience with build orchestration, automated packaging, signing workflows, and artifact distribution.
- Solid understanding of version control (Git/GitHub), branching strategies, and release governance.
- Familiarity with release validation, smoke testing, and integration workflows.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across build systems, pipelines, and platform‑specific release issues.
- Excellent communication and cross‑functional coordination skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience productizing software for consumer devices or large‑scale enterprise deployments.
- Background in secure build pipelines, code‑signing infrastructure, and compliance workflows.
- Knowledge of Jira, Linear or similar tools for release tracking and reporting.
- Experience with automated release notes, changelog generation, and release dashboards.
- Familiarity with containerized build environments (Docker/Kubernetes).
