Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for an AI Quality Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing quality engineering practices for AI-driven systems, with a focus on evaluating model behavior, performance, and reliability

You will develop and execute test strategies for machine learning and LLM-based applications, including validation of model outputs, detection of hallucinations, and assessment of accuracy, consistency, and bias. The role involves building scalable quality frameworks, defining evaluation metrics, and ensuring high standards of product quality through both automated and human-in-the-loop evaluation approaches

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including engineering, data science, and product—to ensure robust, reliable, and responsible AI systems. Additionally, you will proactively identify quality risks, drive continuous improvement, and contribute to operational excellence across AI products.

Qualifications

• Experience in Quality Engineering, QA, and testing, with exposure to AI/ML systems preferred
• Strong understanding of AI/ML evaluation, including output validation, metrics, and performance analysis
• Experience designing test strategies for AI systems, including edge cases and failure modes
• Familiarity with LLMs, prompt evaluation, and issues like hallucination and bias
• Knowledge of responsible AI principles (fairness, transparency, safety)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Experience with test automation, scripting, or evaluation tools is a plus
