AI Project Manager
Forzo Techlabs
Remote | Full-time
About Forzo Techlabs
Forzo Techlabs (FTL) is a US-headquartered company building AI-powered carbon analytics and inventory platforms — Carbalyze and Carboventory — helping organizations track, manage, and act on emissions data. Alongside our product suite, our customer delivery line delivers technical solutions to clients across global markets. We're a fully remote, distributed team where ownership and cross-functional collaboration matter more than hierarchy.
About the Role
We're looking for an AI Project Manager to drive execution across our AI-driven product and customer delivery initiatives. You'll be the connective tissue between engineering, AI architecture, and business stakeholders — turning ambitious roadmaps into shipped, working software. You'll also work closely with our Sales & Marketing function, translating technical capabilities into client-ready narratives and supporting the pipeline that fuels our growth. This role suits someone who understands AI/ML project lifecycles well enough to ask the right questions, spot risk early, and keep delivery on track without needing to write the models themselves.
What You'll Do
Own end-to-end project planning and delivery for AI/ML initiatives across Carbalyze, Carboventory, and customer delivery engagements
Translate business and client requirements into clear technical scopes, timelines, and milestones in partnership with engineering and AI architecture teams
Track project health — timelines, blockers, dependencies, resourcing — and proactively flag risks before they become fires
Coordinate across a fully remote, distributed team to keep delivery aligned across time zones
Facilitate sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives; keep documentation and status reporting current for leadership and clients
Partner with the Sales & Marketing team to support pre-sales efforts — providing technical input for proposals, RFPs, and client pitches, and translating project capabilities into compelling client-facing narratives
Contribute delivery proof points, case studies, and technical talking points to support marketing campaigns and sales collateral
Partner with stakeholders to manage scope changes, prioritization trade-offs, and expectations
Support QA and release coordination for AI-powered features to ensure quality and timely delivery
What You'll Need
3–6 years of project management experience, with at least 1–2 years managing AI/ML, data, or software engineering projects
Working knowledge of AI/ML project lifecycles (data pipelines, model development, evaluation, deployment) — you don't need to build models, but you need to speak the language
Strong track record with agile delivery methods (Scrum/Kanban) and tools like Jira, Asana, or similar
Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally with Sales & Marketing to support pipeline, proposals, and client-facing initiatives
Excellent stakeholder management skills — comfortable working directly with technical leads, clients, and leadership
Sharp written and verbal communication; able to distill technical complexity for non-technical audiences
Comfortable operating in a fully remote, fast-paced startup environment where you'll wear multiple hats
Nice to Have
Azure or AWS certification
Exposure to building or managing agentic AI systems and traditional ML solutions
Exposure to client-facing delivery in a services/consulting context
Why FTL
Work at the intersection of AI and climate impact
Fully remote — work from anywhere, on a team that's built that way from the ground up
Direct access to leadership and real ownership over how projects run
