AI-Native Computer Vision Engineer

We are looking for an AI-native Computer Vision Engineer who can leverage modern AI tools to rapidly design, train, evaluate, and deploy vision models.

This is not a role for someone who writes everything from scratch and uses AI as a helper. We are looking for engineers who treat AI as a force multiplier and are comfortable working with agentic workflows, AI coding assistants, and modern research tools.

What You'll Do:

• Build, fine-tune, and deploy computer vision models for real-world applications.
• Work with image, video, CCTV, drone, satellite, document, and custom datasets.
• Create data pipelines, annotation workflows, training pipelines, and evaluation systems.
• Fine-tune foundation models, vision-language models, and open-source computer vision architectures.
• Optimize models for production deployment and continuous improvement.
• Use AI tools to accelerate development, experimentation, debugging, and research.

Requirements:

• Strong experience training and fine-tuning computer vision models.
• Hands-on experience with PyTorch, OpenCV, and modern vision architectures (YOLO, DETR, SAM, ViTs, etc.).
• Experience with object detection, segmentation, classification, tracking, or OCR systems.
• Strong understanding of datasets, annotation quality, model evaluation, and production deployment.
• Comfortable working with GPUs, cloud infrastructure, and large-scale training workflows.

Most Important Requirement:

You must be highly proficient with AI-assisted engineering.

You should be comfortable using tools such as Claude Code, Codex, ChatGPT, Cursor, Gemini, and other AI agents as part of your daily workflow.

We are looking for engineers who:

• Know how to break complex tasks into agent-friendly workflows.
• Can effectively prompt, review, verify, and iterate on AI-generated solutions.
• Understand when to use multiple agents in parallel.
• Can rapidly prototype, research, debug, and ship using AI.
• View AI as a primary productivity tool rather than an occasional assistant.

If your default approach is write all the code first and use AI occasionally, this role is probably not a good fit.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Vision-Language Models (VLMs).
• Experience with MLOps and model deployment.
• Experience building AI products from idea to production.

Location, Work Environment & Schedule:

This is a full-time, on-site role based in our office. We are intentionally not hiring for a remote position. We believe the fastest progress happens when engineers, researchers, and product teams collaborate in person, iterate quickly, and solve problems together in real time. Candidates should be comfortable working from the office on a daily basis and participating in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment.

You will work directly on products being built for US-based startups and businesses across AI, SaaS, marketplaces, and computer vision domains. This is an opportunity to gain exposure to real-world products, international clients, and cutting-edge AI applications.

Our primary working hours align with the Indian workday. However, since many of our clients are based in the United States, occasional client meetings may be scheduled between 7:30 PM and 11:30 PM IST. These meetings are not a daily requirement but are an important part of collaborating with clients, understanding requirements, presenting progress, and participating in technical discussions.

Candidates should be comfortable communicating with international clients and flexible enough to occasionally accommodate US time zones when required.
