Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager to lead end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of complex software projects. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise, strong leadership abilities, and a proven track record of managing AI/ML, SaaS, or fast-paced tech projects from concept to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Delivery: Define objectives, scope, deliverables, and timelines. Develop and monitor detailed project plans to ensure on-time delivery.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, data science, and product teams to ensure technical feasibility and optimal resource utilization.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, delivering clear progress updates, highlighting risks, and tracking key milestones.
- Risk & Issue Management: Identify potential risks, devise mitigation strategies, and ensure project continuity.
- Agile Leadership: Drive Agile or hybrid methodologies, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation and deliver regular progress reports to leadership.
- Quality & Standards: Partner with QA teams to ensure deliverables meet the highest quality and user expectations.
- Budget & Resource Oversight: Manage budgets, resource allocation, and vendor relationships efficiently.
Experience:
- 1014 years in software development projects.
- 8+ years in technical project management.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of AI/ML technologies, cloud platforms, and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Tools & Methodologies: Proficiency in Jira, Trello, Asana, or similar tools; well-versed in Agile, Scrum, and/or Kanban.
- Core Skills: Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills, with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Skills
- Experience managing AI/ML or data science projects.
- Certifications such as PMP, PMI-ACP, or CSM.
- Familiarity with programming languages (Python, Java, ReactJS, JavaScript, etc.).
- Experience in startup or high-growth environments.
