Job Description – Assistant Professor (AI/ML)
Position: Assistant Professor – Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning
Location: Jaipur, Rajasthan
Department: Computer Science & Engineering / AI & ML
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lectures and practical sessions in AI, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Python, Data Science, and related subjects.
- Prepare course content, lesson plans, assessments, assignments, and laboratory exercises.
- Mentor students on academic projects, internships, research, and career development.
- Guide students in AI/ML projects and encourage hands-on learning.
- Participate in curriculum development, academic activities, workshops, seminars, and departmental initiatives.
- Contribute to research publications, conferences, funded projects, and other academic activities.
- Maintain academic records and ensure timely completion of assigned responsibilities.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Python, and Data Science.
- Hands-on experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Pandas, NumPy or similar tools.
- Good understanding of ML algorithms, neural networks, NLP, computer vision, and model evaluation.
- Strong communication, teaching, mentoring, and presentation skills.
Eligibility
- M.Tech/M.E./M.S./Ph.D. in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science, or a relevant discipline.
- Candidates with relevant academic and/or industry experience will be preferred.
- Ph.D. candidates and candidates with research publications will be an added advantage.
Experience
1–6 years of relevant teaching/industry experience preferred.
Compensation
As per experience, qualification, and institutional norms.
Preferred Candidate
Candidates who can independently handle AI/ML theory + practical/laboratory sessions and mentor students on real-world AI/ML projects.
