Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Automation Engineer with expertise in IT Infrastructure and Application Support, combined with hands-on experience in Generative AI (GenAI), Large Language Models (LLMs), and Python development.
The ideal candidate will drive automation initiatives, enhance operational efficiency, and build intelligent solutions leveraging AI/ML to transform traditional support models into proactive and self-healing systems.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Automation & Engineering
- Design, develop, and implement automation solutions for IT infrastructure and application support processes.
- Build and maintain Python-based automation scripts, tools, and frameworks.
- Develop self-healing mechanisms to proactively detect and resolve system issues.
GenAI / LLM Integration
- Develop and integrate solutions using Generative AI and LLMs (e.g., chatbots, copilots, knowledge assistants).
- Implement AI-driven incident management, root cause analysis, and ticket resolution workflows.
- Fine-tune and optimize LLMs for enterprise use cases such as ITSM, monitoring, and operations.
Infrastructure & Application Support
- Manage and support enterprise infrastructure environments (servers, storage, virtualization, cloud).
- Monitor application performance and ensure high availability and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
Operational Excellence
- Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort and improve service delivery through automation.
- Create dashboards, reports, and insights for operational metrics.
- Ensure adherence to SLA, compliance, and security standards.
Collaboration & Innovation
- Work closely with Infra and Application support teams to implement intelligent automation solutions.
- Stay updated with emerging trends in AI, automation, and IT operations (AIOps).
Contribute to knowledge sharing and best practices within the team.
Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in Python (automation, scripting, API integration).
- Hands-on experience with GenAI / LLM frameworks (e.g., OpenAI, LangChain, Hugging Face) and Agentic AI.
- Experience with ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Remedy, etc.).
- Knowledge of Linux/Windows systems, networking, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience in monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, Dynatrace, etc.).
AI & Automation
- Experience building AI-powered chatbots, copilots, or automation tools.
- Understanding of prompt engineering, embeddings, vector databases, and RAG architecture.
- Exposure to AIOps and intelligent automation frameworks.
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
