About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical AI/ML & Strategy Exploration Intern to join our dynamic team at Meril in Bangalore. This internship offers an excellent opportunity for candidates passionate about machine learning, data science, and strategic problem-solving to gain practical experience in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess a strong foundation in problem-solving, mathematics, and statistics, with a keen interest in machine learning concepts. Applicants must be pursuing a B.Tech/B.E. degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field, with an expected graduation year of 2026. Basic proficiency in Python and familiarity with data-processing libraries such as NumPy and Pandas are preferred. Candidates should demonstrate strong analytical thinking, logical reasoning, and a curiosity to learn and tackle challenging problems. Additionally, good communication skills and the ability to interpret data insights effectively are essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, clean, organize, and analyze datasets for AI/ML and strategic projects to ensure data integrity and usability.
• Perform data preprocessing tasks, including feature engineering and statistical analysis, to support model development.
• Assist in manual evaluation and validation of machine learning model outputs to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Explore datasets to identify patterns, trends, relationships, and potential signals that can inform strategic decisions.
• Support the exploration and evaluation of data-driven strategies, contributing to innovative solutions.
• Apply fundamental mathematics, statistics, and machine learning concepts to solve practical problems in healthcare and related domains.
• Contribute to testing, validating, and refining models, strategies, and analytical results to ensure robustness.
• Identify data quality issues, inconsistencies, and derive meaningful insights to optimize project outcomes.
