About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Azure AI / ML Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying advanced AI and machine learning models utilizing Microsoft Azure cloud services. Your expertise will contribute to creating innovative AI-driven solutions that enhance our clients digital capabilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in natural language processing (NLP), semantic search, and model fine-tuning, with hands-on experience working with Azure OpenAI and related tools. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI projects across diverse industries, supporting enterprise-level digital transformation initiatives.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. A minimum of 4-6 years of professional experience in AI, machine learning, or data engineering is required. Proficiency in Azure cloud services, particularly Azure OpenAI, Azure Document Intelligence, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), is essential. Strong programming skills in Python, along with experience in model evaluation, prompt engineering, and fine-tuning, are mandatory. Familiarity with Databricks, MLflow, DVC, and CI/CD pipelines for machine learning workflows is highly desirable. Excellent problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and a collaborative mindset are also necessary for success in this role.
Responsibilities
The key responsibilities for this role include:
- Developing and deploying AI models using Azure AI services, including Retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) techniques.
- Implementing NLP solutions, semantic search, prompt flow, embeddings strategies, hybrid search, and grounding techniques to enhance search accuracy and relevance.
- Conducting model evaluation, prompt engineering, and fine-tuning to optimize performance.
- Working with Azure OpenAI and OpenAI API to integrate AI capabilities into enterprise applications.
- Managing application hosting and deployment on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and related cloud infrastructure.
- Utilizing Azure Document Intelligence for model selection, table extraction, and ensuring high fidelity in data extraction processes.
- Tracking experiments, maintaining model lineage, and creating analytics endpoints using Databricks and MLflow.
- Collaborating with front-end teams to develop search facets, perform trend analysis, and optimize system performance.
- Writing Python scripts for document parsing, question-answer extraction, telemetry, and ensuring secure access controls.
- Implementing version control using Git and establishing CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment of ML models.
