Project Role Description : Develops applications and systems that utilize AI tools, Cloud AI services, with proper cloud or on-prem application pipeline with production ready quality. Be able to apply GenAI models as part of the solution. Could also include but not limited to deep learning, neural networks, chatbots, image processing.

Summary:

As an AI and Machine Learning Engineer, a typical day involves designing and building advanced applications and systems that leverage artificial intelligence tools and cloud-based AI services. The role requires developing robust application pipelines that are production-ready, whether deployed on cloud platforms or on-premises environments. The engineer integrates generative AI models into solutions and works on diverse AI technologies, including deep learning, neural networks, chatbots, and image processing. Collaboration with various teams to ensure seamless implementation and continuous improvement of AI-driven systems is a key aspect of the daily workflow.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Deep understanding of Medallion (Bronze/Silver/Gold) architecture.
• Solid understanding of Unity Catalog, RBAC, and permission management.
• Proficiency in Python (PySpark) and SQL for data processing and pipeline development.
• Strong knowledge of data ingestion techniques, file handling, and working with structured/unstructured data.
• Experience with performance tuning for both clusters and pipelines.
• Understanding of cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP), Azure preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and the ability to work in complex business environments.
• Experience with CI/CD for Databricks (Repos, DevOps).
• Good to have knowledge of Delta Live Tables (DLT)
• Good to have familiarity with data governance frameworks.
• Good to have exposure to streaming pipelines and event-driven architectures.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
• Strong experience in building and managing scalable data pipelines and workflows within cloud or hybrid environments.
• In-depth understanding of AI model integration and deployment in production environments.
• Familiarity with generative AI models and their application in real-world solutions.
• Ability to work with deep learning frameworks and neural network architectures.
• Experience in developing AI applications involving chatbots and image processing techniques.
  
  

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
• This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
