About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced AI/ML Architect to lead enterprise AI strategy and design scalable multimodal AI systems for a media organization.
This role focuses on building capabilities across LLM workflows, multimodal RAG, media understanding, content intelligence, personalization, and AI platform infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
AI Architecture & Strategy:
- Define the AI roadmap across:
- NLP, CV, ASR, and Video AI
- Multimodal LLMs
- Recommendation systems
- Content moderation & compliance
- RAG and knowledge systems
- Agentic automation
- Architect scalable ingestion pipelines for high-volume media (10K+ hours of video)
- Establish standards for model lifecycle, governance, auditability, and lineage
Platform & Infrastructure:
- Design GPU clusters, distributed compute, and cloud AI platforms
- Oversee integration with:
- MAM, CMS
- Data lake / lakehouse
- Vector databases
- Observability systems
Governance & Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with:
- Content safety guidelines
- Copyright/IP protection
- Data privacy laws
- Responsible AI standards (e.g., NIST AI RMF)
Innovation & Leadership:
- Evaluate emerging multimodal and generative AI technologies
- Drive adoption of LLMOps and agentic AI frameworks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and present strategies to leadership
Required Skills & Qualifications
Core Requirements:
- 10+ years in software engineering / AI/ML architecture
- Strong Python and system design expertise
- Proven experience building large-scale AI systems
AI/ML Expertise:
- Deep expertise in multimodal AI (text, image, audio, video)
- Strong understanding of:
- LLMs, RAG pipelines
- Embeddings and vector search
- Recommendation systems
Platform & Cloud:
- Experience with AWS / Azure / GCP
- Knowledge of distributed systems, data pipelines, and APIs
- Familiarity with Docker / Kubernetes
Good to Have (Optional)
- Experience in media or high-scale content platforms
- Exposure to LLMOps or agentic AI systems
- Background in content moderation or personalization systems
