Job Summary
We are looking for an AI / Machine Learning Engineer with 25 years of hands-on experience in building, training, and deploying machine learning models. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in ML algorithms, Python programming, and data handling, with exposure to deploying models in production environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement machine learning models to solve business problems
- Perform data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation
- Train, tune, and optimize ML models for performance and scalability
- Work closely with data engineers, backend developers, and product teams
- Deploy ML models using REST APIs and integrate them with applications
- Monitor model performance and support model retraining and improvements
- Document model architecture, workflows, and technical decisions
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in AI/ML
Required Skills & Qualifications
Core Skills
- 25 years of experience in AI / Machine Learning
- Strong programming skills in Python
- Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms (Regression, Classification, Clustering, Decision Trees, Ensemble methods)
- Experience with Supervised and Unsupervised learning
- Knowledge of model evaluation metrics (Accuracy, Precision, Recall, F1-score, ROC-AUC)
Frameworks & Libraries
- Hands-on experience with Scikit-learn
- Exposure to TensorFlow / PyTorch / Keras
- Experience using NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib/Seaborn
Data & Databases
- Experience in data cleaning and preprocessing
- Working knowledge of SQL and basic database concepts
- Ability to work with structured and semi-structured data
Deployment & Tools
- Basic experience in deploying ML models using APIs
- Familiarity with Docker and basic cloud concepts
- Exposure to AWS / Azure / GCP is a plus
- Understanding of version control systems like Git
Nice to Have
- Exposure to NLP or Computer Vision projects
- Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, or embeddings
- Familiarity with MLOps tools (MLflow, Airflow, Kubeflow)
- Knowledge of data visualization and storytelling
- Understanding of ethical AI and bias mitigation
