AI/LLM DELIVERY PROJECT MANAGER (Biogeography Astrobiology)

About The Opportunity

A fast-moving innovation hub at the intersection of artificial intelligence, planetary science, and biogeographic modeling, we build and deploy large language models (LLMs) to solve complex, mission-critical problems in astrobiology and Earth systems science. Our projects integrate AI-driven spatial analysis, ecological forecasting, and extraterrestrial life probability modeling — turning speculative science into actionable, scalable intelligence for government, research, and commercial space ventures. Role & Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end LLM delivery cycles for biogeography and astrobiology use cases — from requirement alignment to deployment, ensuring technical feasibility and scientific accuracy.
• Bridge AI engineers, planetary scientists, and domain experts to translate complex research questions into structured LLM training workflows and evaluation metrics.
• Manage agile sprints, stakeholder roadmaps, and cross-functional team coordination across remote global teams with zero latency in execution.
• Own model validation frameworks — integrating domain-specific benchmarks (e.g., biosignature detection accuracy, biogeographic niche modeling precision) into CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop and maintain project documentation, risk registers, and delivery dashboards tailored for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Advocate for ethical AI governance, bias mitigation, and responsible deployment in scientifically sensitive domains like astrobiology and planetary habitability modeling.
