What You'll Do
- Problem-to-Solution Leadership: Frame ambiguous business challenges into mathematically well-defined AI problems and drive the full data strategy lifecycle.
- Research to Production: Translate complex research papers into reliable, high-performance systems while optimizing for latency, cost, and throughput.
- LLM & GenAI Expertise: Build and fine-tune LLMs and design advanced RAG pipelines grounded in embedding geometry and transformer internals.
- Full-Stack Ownership: Lead the entire pipeline—from training and evaluation to deployment, monitoring, and building scalable APIs.
- Optimization & Scale: Drive system efficiency for distributed training, numerical stability, and high-throughput production workloads.
- Technical Mentorship: Mentor engineers in math-driven problem solving, ML systems design, and experimental rigor.
What You Bring
- Experience: 10–15 years leading AI initiatives with a rock-solid foundation in probability, statistics, optimization, and linear algebra.
- Domain Mastery: Proven ability to solve complex problems across NLP, Computer Vision, and Generative AI.
- LLM Track Record: Deep production experience including fine-tuning, RAG, and at least two shipped LLM products.
- System Scale: 6+ years building and operating large-scale AI systems, including distributed training and real-time inference.
- Decision Making: A quantitative approach to model selection and architectural tradeoffs.
