About the Role
We are looking for an experienced an AI – Junior/Mid QA Manual & Automation Engineer with expertise in automation engineering, AI-assisted testing, UX validation, and Agile delivery, who can work independently, take ownership, identify requirement gaps and risks, and collaborate effectively with stakeholders to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain automation frameworks and reusable test scripts.
- Create test cases, test scenarios, and test plans based on business requirements.
- Execute manual and automated testing using Playwright (preferred), Selenium, or similar tools.
- Leverage AI-assisted testing tools for test generation, validation, and defect analysis.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, API, and end-to-end testing.
- Conduct UX testing to ensure usability, accessibility, and a seamless user experience.
- Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution.
- Collaborate with Product, Development, Design, and DevOps teams throughout the SDLC.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Proactively identify requirement gaps, ambiguities, and risks, and work with stakeholders to resolve them.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–4 years of experience in QA Automation and Software Testing.
- Strong experience in manual testing and automation scripting.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright (preferred), Selenium, or similar frameworks.
- Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, or C#.
- Experience with AI-assisted testing tools and techniques.
- Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman or Swagger.
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience testing AI-powered applications.
- Exposure to AWS or Azure.
- Knowledge of performance testing tools.
- Experience with Appium or mobile automation testing.
