Job Description

AI Implementation Specialist — Jewellery Division (AI Agents & Workflow Automation)

Reports to: CEO's Office

About Us

We are one of the world's most ambitious vertically integrated diamond and jewellery businesses — spanning advanced CVD diamond growing, large-scale jewellery manufacturing, and fast-growing global consumer brands, with operations across India, the UK, Europe, the US, the Middle East, and the Far East.

Within our jewellery division, we are now embedding artificial intelligence into the way we work — to move faster, decide sharper, and operate more intelligently than anyone in our industry. We are looking for a builder to lead that effort on the ground.

The Role

We are looking for a hands-on AI Implementation Specialist to bring AI agents and intelligent automation into the day-to-day running of our jewellery division — specifically across Product Development, Sales, Production, and Finance. You will identify where AI can create the most value across these four functions, then design, build, deploy, and embed AI agents and bots that do real work inside real processes. This is a builder's role: you should be as comfortable mapping a messy business workflow as you are wiring up an LLM-powered agent and making it reliable in production. You will own implementations end to end, from first idea to measurable impact.

Where You'll Make an Impact

Product Development

  • Build AI agents that research design trends, generate design briefs, and draft product descriptions and specification sheets.
  • Automate SKU cataloguing, tagging, and bill-of-materials / costing preparation for new collections.
  • Surface competitive and market-trend intelligence on demand.

Sales

  • Automate order processing, quotation, and RFQ responses.
  • Draft and personalise buyer communications across email and messaging.
  • Keep CRM and sales pipelines current, and generate order-velocity and performance reporting automatically.

Production

  • Automate work-order tracking, status updates, and production-scheduling support.
  • Capture and report yield, quality, and throughput data — flagging delays and bottlenecks early.
  • Coordinate job-work and vendor follow-ups.

Finance

  • Automate invoice processing, reconciliation, and receivables / payables tracking.
  • Generate live management information (MIS) — margins, order velocity, cash position.
  • Support audit readiness, variance analysis, and routine financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with leaders across product development, sales, production, and finance to identify, prioritise, and scope the highest-value processes for AI automation.
  • Design, build, and deploy AI agents and bots that execute real tasks within live workflows.
  • Integrate AI agents with our existing systems and tools, including ERP, CRM, email, calendar, cloud storage, and Microsoft 365.
  • Develop and refine prompts, instructions, guardrails, and evaluation methods so that agents are accurate, safe, and dependable.
  • Build automation pipelines that connect AI to operational data, triggers, and actions.
  • Run pilots end to end: scope, build, test, measure impact, and iterate quickly.
  • Drive real adoption through hands-on training, clear documentation, and change management — so teams actually use what you build.
  • Establish measurement and governance: track ROI, time saved, accuracy, and risk.
  • Stay ahead of a fast-moving AI landscape and translate new capabilities into practical advantage.

What You'll Bring

  • Demonstrable experience building and deploying AI agents, chatbots, or LLM-powered automations in a real organisation (please share examples or a portfolio).
  • Hands-on familiarity with leading LLMs and agentic platforms (e.g. Claude, OpenAI, and frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar).
  • Strong working knowledge of automation and integration tools (e.g. n8n, Make, Zapier, Power Automate) and of APIs and webhooks.
  • Proficiency in Python (or a comparable language) for scripting, integration, and data handling.
  • Excellent prompt-engineering skills and a rigorous, test-driven approach to agent reliability.
  • The ability to read a business process, spot the automation opportunity, and translate it into a working solution.
  • Strong communication skills — you can earn the trust of non-technical teams and bring them along.
  • A self-starter mindset that thrives on ownership and ambiguity.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with RPA, document AI / OCR, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), or vector databases.
  • Exposure to manufacturing, supply chain, retail, or the gems and jewellery sector.
  • Experience integrating AI with ERP systems and BI tools (e.g. Power BI).
  • A solid understanding of data privacy, security, and responsible-AI practices.
  • A background in solutions consulting, automation engineering, or digital transformation.

What Success Looks Like

  • First 30 days: Map the biggest AI-automation opportunities across product development, sales, production, and finance.
  • First 60 days: Ship at least one production-grade AI agent in one of these functions that measurably saves time or cost.
  • First 90 days: Build and execute a prioritised roadmap for scaling AI across the jewellery division.

What We Offer

  • The chance to shape AI adoption at one of the most forward-looking companies in the global diamond and jewellery industry.
  • Direct access to leadership and a genuine mandate to drive change.
  • A high-growth, entrepreneurial environment with global scope.
  • Competitive compensation, commensurate with experience.
