Job Description

Overview

You will serve as the technical architect and builder for RealPage's AI governance infrastructure, creating AI agents, automation tools, and technical solutions that enable governance to scale efficiently. Your charter spans developing automated discovery systems, building intelligent governance assistants, creating self-service tools for business units, and implementing technical controls that enforce governance policies. You will partner with the Director and governance team to understand operational pain points and translate them into technical solutions that multiply team effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop AI agents that automate governance workflows including registry updates, risk assessments, policy compliance checks, and documentation generation to reduce manual workload.
  • Build automated discovery systems that continuously scan RealPage's infrastructure to identify AI systems, monitor for shadow AI usage, and maintain real-time inventory accuracy across cloud environments.
  • Create self-service tools and dashboards that enable business units to independently assess AI risk, generate compliance documentation, and navigate governance processes without constant manual intervention.
  • Develop intelligent governance assistants using generative AI that can answer stakeholder questions, provide policy guidance, and assist with intake form completion to accelerate governance processes.
  • Implement technical monitoring and observability solutions that track AI system behavior, detect anomalies, identify drift , and alert the governance team to potential issues before they escalate.
  • Build integrations between the OneTrust governance platform and other enterprise systems including CMDB, ServiceNow, cloud platforms, and development tools to create seamless data flows.
  • Develop automated reporting and metrics collection systems that eliminate manual dashboard creation, provide real-time governance visibility, and generate executive-ready analytics.
  • Create API-based governance controls that can be embedded into CI/CD pipelines, enabling developers to receive governance feedback during development rather than as a post-deployment gate.
  • Collaborate with InfoSec and DevOps teams to implement runtime technical controls including content filtering, rate limiting, PII detection, and kill switches for AI systems as defined by governance requirements.
  • Maintain documentation for governance tools and automation, provide technical support to the governance team, and continuously improve solutions based on operational feedback and changing requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science , Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2 to 3 years of software development experience with focus on Python, APIs, or automation
  • 1 to 2 years of experience working with LLMs, AI APIs, or agent frameworks ( LangChain , OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar)
  • Experience building integrations between systems using REST APIs or similar patterns
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
  • Solid foundation in software engineering practices including version control, testing, and documentation
  • Travel up to 5% for training and team meetings

Preferred

  • Experience developing agents or LLM-based apps using frameworks like LangChain , OpenAI Agent SDK , or similar
  • Familiarity with governance, risk, and compliance platforms ( OneTrust , ServiceNow GRC)
  • Experience in DevSecOps , CI/CD pipeline development, or platform engineering
  • Knowledge of MLOps practices and AI/ML observability tools
  • Experience in property management or real estate technology industry

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Deep technical understanding of generative AI, LLMs, and agentic AI system development with ability to architect intelligent governance solutions
  • Proficiency in software engineering best practices including version control, testing, documentation, and code review
  • Strong problem-solving skills with ability to break down complex governance challenges into implementable technical solutions
  • Experience with data engineering concepts including ETL pipelines, data quality, and database management
  • Working knowledge of governance and compliance concepts to understand requirements and design appropriate technical controls
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical governance stakeholders
  • Self-directed work style with ability to identify high-impact automation opportunities and drive implementation independently
  • Strong analytical skills for evaluating tool options, assessing technical feasibility, and making architectural decisions
  • Collaborative mindset with willingness to partner across teams including governance, security, engineering, and operations
  • Commitment to building maintainable, scalable solutions that can evolve with changing governance requirements
