AI GEO Engineer (GB03 / GB04)

About the Role

We are looking for a strong AI/ML Engineer with hands-on experience in Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), or Search Generative Experience (SGE). The ideal candidate will combine AI/ML engineering expertise with a deep understanding of AI-powered search, LLM-based experiences, and content discoverability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy production-grade AI/ML and Generative AI solutions.
• Drive GEO, AEO, and SGE initiatives to improve visibility and discoverability across AI-driven search and generative interfaces.
• Optimize content, data, and digital experiences for AI-powered search, conversational queries, and LLM-based experiences.
• Develop solutions using LLMs, NLP, semantic search, embeddings, RAG, and vector databases.
• Analyze search intent, AI-generated responses, retrieval patterns, citations, and content discoverability to identify optimization opportunities.
• Build experiments and frameworks to measure the effectiveness of GEO/AEO strategies and AI search performance.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Content, SEO, Marketing, and Business teams to translate requirements into scalable AI solutions.
• Monitor and improve solution performance across accuracy, relevance, latency, discoverability, and user experience.

Mandatory Requirements

• 2+ years of professional experience, including at least 1+ year of experience in GEO/AEO/SGE-related work.
• 1+ year of hands-on experience in GEO, AEO, or SGE, particularly optimizing for AI-driven search interfaces, conversational queries, and generative search experiences.
• Hands-on experience with prompt engineering, embeddings, vector search, and/or RAG-based systems.
• Strong understanding of how modern search engines and AI systems retrieve, rank, and generate responses, including semantic search and entity-based optimization.
• Experience with AI/LLM ecosystems such as ChatGPT, Google Gemini, or similar platforms, with an understanding of how AI-generated responses are produced and ranked.
• Understanding of content structuring for AI consumption, including schema, context building, and knowledge representation.
• Strong AI/ML Engineering background with practical experience building and deploying AI/ML solutions.
• Education: BE/B.Tech or a Dual Degree such as B.Tech + M.Tech, Integrated M.Sc./M.S. only.

Preferred Profile

• Experience working on high-scale AI, search, or consumer-facing products.
• Strong analytical and experimentation mindset with the ability to measure and improve AI search performance.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with AI/ML, SEO, Content, Product, and Engineering teams.
• Strong understanding of emerging Generative AI and AI Search trends.
