Role Description
Job Title:AI Generalist / AI Automation Specialist

About the role
This role owns getting AI actually used in the business building workflows, automations, and internal tools using existing AI platforms (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, agents, Zapier/Make, etc.).
Key responsibilities
- Identify AI and automation opportunities across operations, sales, marketing, HR, and finance.
- Design and implement workflows using AI tools, nocode/lowcode platforms, and APIs (e.g., Zapier, Make, n8n, GSheets, CRMs).
- Build AI assistants and internal tools for tasks like proposal drafting, lead qualification, report generation, documentation, and SOP creation.
- Create and maintain simple data pipelines (imports/exports, basic cleaning, connecting tools via APIs or webhooks).
- Test, monitor, and continuously improve AI workflows to reduce errors and manual effort.
- Train internal teams on how to use AI tools safely and effectively; create playbooks and documentation.
- Stay updated on new AI tools and suggest practical, lowfriction use cases for the business.
Musthave skills
- Strong handson experience with generative AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.) and prompt design.
- Comfort with nocode/lowcode automation tools (Zapier/Make/n8n) and SaaS integrations.
- Ability to understand business processes and redesign them with AI/automation in mind.
- Basic technical skills: spreadsheets, APIs concepts, simple scripts (Python/JavaScript) are a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong communication and documentation; can explain AI concepts to nontechnical teams.
Good to have
- Experience in operations, marketing, sales ops, or consulting.
- Exposure to vectordatabase based tools, RAG platforms, or AI agents (LangChain, LlamaIndex, etc.) asusersnot necessarily as core developers.
