The Role
As a paid AI Full-Stack Developer Intern, you will contribute to the end-to-end development of our education technology products from day one. Working directly with our founding team at our Ballari office, you will help build, test, and ship intelligent tools within the PupilSuite ecosystem.
This role is ideal for candidates at the early stages of their careers who are eager to work across the full stack, learn rapidly, and take ownership of meaningful projects in an applied AI environment.
What You'll Do
- Assist in building and iterating on our Education Copilot — spanning backend logic to frontend user experience
- Help build and optimize autonomous agent workflows (including chained reasoning, tool use, and retrieval-augmented generation) under the guidance of lead engineers
- Write clean, production-ready code in Python (FastAPI) and create interactive user interfaces in React/TypeScript
- Work across different projects in the PupilSuite, contributing to tools that bridge learning gaps and support educators
- Take ownership of a specific feature or tool from ideation through deployment, ensuring it meets quality standards for both intelligence and user experience
What We're Looking For
AI-Augmented Development (Important)
- Proficiency in using AI-powered development environments (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, or similar tools) to accelerate development and learning
- Ability to effectively leverage LLMs for learning new frameworks and debugging complex issues quickly
Technical Foundation
- Solid understanding of Python (FastAPI) and React
- Proficiency in MongoDB and NoSQL data modeling
- Familiarity with TypeScript and modern CSS frameworks
- Curiosity and foundational experience with LLM APIs (e.g., Google Gemini, OpenAI)

- Comfort with switching between different languages and frameworks as project needs evolve
- Willingness to work full-time and onsite in Ballari, Karnataka for the internship duration
