Criador Design Labs is a Bengaluru-based product design and engineering studio specialising in hardware, IoT, and connected product development. We work with founders and enterprises to take products from concept to production — combining industrial design, electronics, firmware, and software under one roof. The Role
We're looking for an AI-First Full Stack Developer who thinks in prompts as naturally as they think in code. This isn't a role where AI is a nice-to-have — it's someone who actively uses LLMs, agents, and AI tooling to ship faster, build smarter internal tools, and support our product development workflows. You'll work directly with the founding team on client projects and internal systems.
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain web applications and internal tools that support our hardware/IoT design workflows — project trackers, client portals, proposal systems, BOM managers, etc.
- Design and deploy AI-powered features using LLM APIs (Claude, GPT, Gemini) — chat interfaces, document analysers, code generators, automation agents
- Build lightweight backend services and APIs to connect our tools to external systems (ERPs, procurement platforms, client dashboards)
- Use AI coding assistants (Cursor, Copilot, Claude Code) as a primary part of your development workflow, not just occasionally
- Own projects end-to-end — from architecture decisions to deployment to iteration based on team feedback
- Rapidly prototype and validate ideas — speed of learning matters more than perfection here
What We're Looking For
Technical Skills
- Frontend: React.js (or Next.js), Tailwind CSS, component-based UI design
- Backend: Node.js or Python, REST APIs, basic database design (PostgreSQL / Firebase / Supabase)
- AI/LLM Integration: Experience calling and working with LLM APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI, or equivalent); prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, or agent flows is a strong plus
- Tooling: Proficient with Git, basic DevOps (Vercel/Railway/Render deployments), and comfortable in a Linux/terminal environment
- Bonus: Experience with automation tools (Make, n8n, Zapier), vector databases, or document processing pipelines

- You're comfortable with ambiguity and can define scope for yourself
- You care about craft — clean UIs, readable code, sensible architecture
- You communicate clearly and ask good questions
- You can context-switch between a design studio's varied projects without losing focus
